The children’s ministries are an integral part of Florence Baptist Church.  We believe that we must work hard to reach the next generations for the Lord Jesus Christ.  We have developed an exciting, yet biblical way to reach little ones with the Word of God.  Here are some of the different areas in which they learn about the Saviour:

• Nursery (infants and toddler age)
• Family Bible Time (for all ages)
• Junior Church (2nd – 6th grade)
• Bus Ministry

The Youth Ministry is a very important part of Florence Baptist Church.  We believe that this is the next generation of adults that will help influence the world in some way.  We desire to see them grow spiritually, so that they can make the right decisions in life.  We also desire to see them contribute to society in a positive manner.  Underneath Biblical preaching and teaching, the youth of today can flourish in their lives.  Florence Baptist Church makes it a point to reach out to the young people in our community and help them come to the Saviour.

• Teen Family Bible Time Class (7th – 12th grades)
• Wednesday Night Teen Time (5th – 12th grades)
• Scheduled Youth Activities twice a month (5th – 12th grades)
• Youth Camp (5th – 12th grades)

The Music Ministry plays a great part in the services at Florence Baptist Church.  We have an old-fashioned song service with great hymns of the past.  We believe that the music of the church is to glorify God in sound and appearance and not take on the fashion of the world. 

We have a great group of ladies at Florence Baptist Church.  Throughout the year, they will gather together to have a devotion in God’s Word and do some sort of neat project for others.  It gives the ladies a change to get to know one another and develop Christ-honoring friendships that will last a lifetime.

This is an outreach ministry of Florence Baptist Church.  Providing food for the hungry gives us a wonderful opportunity to speak with individuals about the Lord Jesus Christ.

This is an outreach ministry of Florence Baptist Church in which those in need can find some help.  Many people have been blessed by this ministry and appreciate the clean and well-kept clothes that they receive in the name of the Lord Jesus.

Our bookstore is well-equipped with fundamental books that can help Christians in their walk with God.  There are devotional books, study helps, Christian biographies, and children’s books.  It also provides Bibles, good Christian music and preaching tapes.  This bookstore has a hometown touch and a friendly welcome to all that visit.  Please come and see the great selection and warm greeting following any service at Florence Baptist Church.
